Ghanaian songstress Adina says that’s beefing is not her kind of thing taking into consideration how far she wants to take Ghana music, especially to the world scene.
She was interviewed by MzGee on TV3 today via Skype where she shared her opinion on constant jabs among artistes to make trends.
The interview is coming at the back of the recent beef song released by Sista Afia titled ‘WMT’ which many believed was directed to Wendy Shay, and Sister Deborah.
Adina says she won’t be found in issues as dirty as this one.
I don’t think there is negativity [among] the females in the industry and I think it’s been cool for a very long time we haven’t had any issues…
She said and added that stories about beefs are news to her.
I think everybody should be responsible for their actions…I’m not worried first and foremost and I don’t think one person’s action should be used to talk about everyone else…
I don’t know what is going on, I don’t know the details so I can’t even comment on that particular issue.
Adina reiterated.
She, however, was of the view that people should be allowed to make their strategic moves even though “I’m not saying people should go and beef…”
When MzGee quizzed her on whether she will ever beef anyone in the industry to get attention, Adina responded in the negative.
No I don’t think I would because I don’t think it’s going to [take] me where I want to go in the industry.
She said.
