Fanmilk seller bets Ghc7,000 with Company sales.

Wonders never stop happening in this world that we find ourselves.A young gentleman in his early 20’s who happens to be a salesman at a Fan Milk depot at Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana has been arrested and arranged before court for gambling with the company’s sales.

Saddick Amoah, the name of the accused, is said to have gambled with GH¢7,000.00 that he made from sales with high hope that he would win and refund the money from the gains he makes and have some profit for himself but that turned out ill.

Words from the depot manager, Ms. Thelma Bortey says, she realize that the said amount was missing and there was no traces in their accounts books. This informed her decision to report Mr. Amoah to the police for investigation about the said missing money.

When Mr Amoah was interrogated by the police, he confessed that he used the GH¢7,000 for online betting hoping that he would win and pay back before it could be detected, but his loss resulted in his failure to put the money back where he took it from.

So from time to time, he renders account to his employer.”

“Towards the end of the month of January, his superior asked him to render account to her. Anytime they call is made to him, he plays “hide and seek” with her. The manager then decided to report to the police since he was not cooperating,” he continued.

He was processed for court and at the court, he pleaded not guilty to the charges. The court, therefore, pronounced that someone bails him of an amount of GH¢10,000.” Superintended Afrifa narrated.
