Ghana is declaring a policy of “No Face Masks, No Entry Policy”: Greater Accra Regional Minister, Ishmael Ashitey , has declared that Face masks are now compulsory when plying the streets of Accra.
He has ordered in a press statement that this new order should be enforced at offices, markets, pharmacies, shopping malls among other places.
Commercial drivers are also directed not to allow anyone to board their vehicles without face masks.
Simply put, if you don’t have your face mask on, you can’t enter any place at all to carry out any duty.
This new direction is coming as a way to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the Greater Accra Region.
The Minister has also declared that there all be no special market days in other to prevent overcrowding in markets squares.
