The prolific Ghanaian hip-pop rapper M.anifest seems to have a problem over claims by dancehall musician Shatta Wale, For saying other musicians in Ghana are copying his style of organising street concerts.
Shatta Wale made a statement in an interview at star drive with KOD and this was his statement,
I am really happy most of them are learning from where I started schooling from (Street), I am one of the boys who started street shows in Ghana; I did community shows, from Nima, Jamestown during that time, most of them were concentrating on filling the conference centres.
These statement came days after Sarkodie organised his ‘This is Tema’ Concert.
And on tuesday, Manifest was also caught up in an interview at Star Drive where he reacted to the statement made by Shatta Wale.
He said,
it’s making the rounds. Let me correct him though, I did “Madina block party”. before everybody did anything else
