Ghanaian Political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng also known as A Plus, has denounced his membership with the New Patriotic Party, the very political party he supported to come into power.

He vowed never to return to the party or have anything to do with the NPP as far as life is concern.

Mr. Obeng revealed that, the NPP is not the a kind of party any one should die for because it is engulfed with greedy and selfish people.

Check their constitution and it confirms it, among the founding fathers, if your father’s name is not in there don’t follow them, they will use and dump you.

According A Plus, he is regretting ever joining the NPP who takes people for granted.

He narrated how musicians keep calling to complain they are not getting what they were promised before the election, which has push him to come out and speak.

A Plus in a facebook video said, it has become the case because the NPP has taken them for ‘fools’.

Because two days to the elections, about 34 musicians who visited Nana Addo at his residence were all given GH5,000 each that day and even before the day, some had already been given different amounts so they can offered their support to the party.

You’re fools because you helped them to win power and they later realised they don’t need you after the elections. Ghanaian musicians are cheap, the NPP gives you something small, that’s all.

He narrated how all the celebrities got unto the Nana Addo campaign and how he managed to convince several of them to support the campaign, though others, who are now enjoying the party declined his plea.

The Hiplife musician alleged that in 2008, young musicians started joining political campaigns because he made it happen and succeeded in bringing many of them into the NPP but today, many of them have been neglected due to greed.

I brought almost every musician to join his campaign and that day, Nana Addo gave all the musicians who supported him GH5,000 each.

Today, NPP has selected different musicians to record song for YEA.

They are looking for ambassadors for YEA and to produce songs for YEA, they are giving them roles to play as ambassadors and have forgotten those musicians who sang and campaign to helped bring them to power.

They keep distributing scholarships, monies and contracts to their girls friends and boy lovers.

I’m no longer a member of NPP, I am planing to write a letter, add my party card to it.

Then send it to the party office and hand it over to John Boadu. I am not interested in the party again they are thieves.
