Nana Akufo Addo Extends COVID-19 Lockdown To One More Week

The Lockdown in Ghana which was supposed to end on 13th of April 2020 having started on the 30th March 2020 has been extended for another more week, according to the president of Ghana.

By the new directive, the Coronavirus lockdown in Ghana shall end on 20th April 2020 subject to constant renewal.

The president of Ghana, Nana Addo made the announcement during his 6th address to the nation on Ghana’s current state in relation to the fight against Coronavirus today, 9th April 2020.

The president also announced in addition to the free water bill, free electricity for the next 3 months starting from April 2020.
