By reports fast circulating on the internet confirms there are no more recorded cases of the deadly COVID-19 in Nigeria.

Both first and second Coronavirus patients have now fully recovered, according to health officials.

This report was also confirmed by the Federal Government through the Federal Minister of Health in a submission on Friday.

Dr. Osagie Ehanire, the Federal Minister of Health in his submission said that the person, who had contact with the index case, had no symptoms of the COVID 19, adding that he had not been sick while in isolation.

He also said the index case, an Italian who is receiving treatment in Lagos, would also be discharged next week.

He added in his submission;

40 tested negative and two were confirmed positive. These two are the index case and contact with the index case. No death has been recorded
