NDC regional communication team member in the Eastern part of Ghana, Joshua Ofori said Npp should face the reality of the fact that Ghanaians are withdrawing from the use of Momo and should stop accusing the minority in Parliament.
Joshua Ofori speaking on Radio 1 morning show with Nana Kwabena Addo said his side concerning the accusations of minority using propaganda to fuel the panic withdrawals by Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah, a Member of Parliament for Akim Oda constituency.
Joshua said Ghanaians are not in support of the E – levy and he doesn’t know if Npp government is a listening government or not.
He added that, Taxes are used for development and here is the case he is not seeing any proper development under the Npp Government.
’’So how do you want Ghanaians to accept E-levy when we don’t see what they are using the already paid taxes for?” – He questioned.
“Ghanaians were complaining bitterly that, if Npp government implements the E-Levy they will close their accounts and it’s not like this is a plan thing from the NDC as they are saying.” – He concluded.
