A high school girl has been captured riding a motorbike to school and covering a whopping 35 kilometres.
The amazing story was shared by Foga Nukunu, who contested for the parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the NDC at the Ketu South Municipality. He, however, lost slightly to Hon. Dzifa Gomashie.
According to him, he met the SHS student riding the motorbike from Kopeyia all the way to a high school in Keta. The distance between the two points is estimated to be a whopping 35 kilometres.
It was indicated that the girl desired to be in the boarding house in her high school but could not get access as there was no vacancy.

Among other things, Foga described the entire scenario as risky and dangerous. This can be understood as there have are numerous counts of road accidents that involve motor riders.
Sadly, in the picture that was shared, the lady whose name has been withheld, was not seen wearing a helmet or any form of protection on her head.
She only wore her school’s house uniform and carried her backpack.
The aspiring Member of Parliament urged whoever could assist the young lady and find a place of accommodation for her, in order that she stops using the risky means of going to school.

Today, I saw an SHS One student riding motorbike from Kopeyia near St Paul’s to a senior high school in Keta Assembly, covering a total of over 35 kilometres.
I saw the whole thing risky and dangerous. When I spoke to her, she said her desire was to be a boarder, not a day student and she will be very happy if given boarding house.Whoever can help to place this courageous lady in the boarding house should do so.
