Rodney Reed is on death row in the state of Texas for rape and murder. He has long maintained his innocence.
Rodney Reed was accused of the 1996 murder of Stacey Stites, a 19-year-old woman who was found strangled and raped in a wooded area in Bastrop, Texas.

Initially, police suspected Stites’ fiancé, a former police officer named Jimmy Fennell, of killing Stites.
Rodney Reed is to be executed later this month, but celebrities like Rihanna, Meek Mile and Kim Kardashian have started a campaign for his case to be Re-brought to live.

Kim Kardashian in her post stated that she met Reek at the cell to give him hope and also assure him that she will do anything in her power to get him justice because they have made his case to be Re-brought to live.
