Last night, Rihanna went on to share a topless photo with a diamond-studded Lord Ganesha necklace. The singer has been receiving massive backlash for hurting religious sentiments.
Celebrated pop star and fashion icon Rihanna always finds herself in the middle of controversy even without saying a word. Whether it’s sharing an obscene image of Queen Elizbeth or her speaking about being a victim of physical abuse, Rihanna is always in the eye of the storm.
More recently, Rihanna created outrage in India when she tweeted about the ongoing farmers’ protest in the country. Numerous social media users targetted the singer and some went a step further to claim that she was paid to Tweet against India.
Barely a few weeks later, Rihanna is now being slammed again, for something totally different.
The pop star went on to share a topless image of her on social media last night, but accessorised her look with a diamond-studded Lord Ganesh pendant with a pearl necklace.
The photo sees Rihanna in a pair of lilac shimmer shorts, flaunting her tattoos, OTT lilac jewellery, and a Ganesha pendant in the same colour.
She went on to caption the post, “when @popcaanmusic said “me nuh wan ya wear no lingerie tonight fa me girl.”
