Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, was arrested by the Ghana Police Service on Monday for creating “multiple videos containing threats, the brandishing of a weapon and the assault of some police personal”. This was after the pastor stormed the premises of Nana Agradaa together with his armed men.
According to reports, he was arrested by the Accra Regional Police Command together with three other suspects namely; Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene, and Nathaniel Agyekum, on Sunday September 13, 202, at his church premises.
On Monday September 13, the Accra Circuit court detain the controversial Ghanaian prophet, Isaac Owusu Bempah for one more week in police custody when he appeared before the court.
Despite pleading not guilty to the charges labelled against him by the Ghana Police including disturbing public peace and assaults, Her Honour Afia Owusuwaa Appiah refused to grant the pastor bail and insisted he should remain in the police custody and for that matter, he would have to reappear before the court on Monday, September 20th, 2021.
In new developments to the case per reports, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah was being hospitalized on Monday night at the Police Hospital after he was denied bail on that same Monday in court. But as at now, he has been discharged and return back to cells by the Police after he spent two hours at the Police Hospital according to Accra-based Citi FM.
According to reports from authentic and trusted source, the controversial Ghanaian prophet land in hospital after he suddenly fall sick in police custody. He was been rushed to the police hospital for treatment where he was admitted at the hospital under armed police guard.
Per reports, the man of God pleaded with the security officials to remove the handcuffs from his hand while receiving treatment but the plead fall on deaf ears as the police officials refused to do so.
After two hours of treatment, the police hospital discharged him and he was immediately return back to the police cells for which he will be detained there until September 20th when he will appear before the court again. A lot of Ghanaians are speculating that, the sudden illness of Issac Owusu Bempah was a faked one. What do you have to say about it?
