Former Ghana Blackstars player, Kevin Prince Boateng has disclosed his intention to one day coach the Ghana National Team.
In an Instagram live with his brother Jerome Boateng, Kevin said he “didn’t like the way things ended” with the national team.
However, he’s hopeful that he’ll go back and play a game before finally retiring.
He also spoke on how dearly he still loves Ghana.
“Kevin: “With the national team, I didn’t like the way it ended because they gave me so much. But you never know, maybe I can go back and play one more time again.”
Jerome: “Or maybe the assistant coach.”
Kevin: “Or maybe the coach, you never know.”
Jerome: “Oh yeah, best coach.” [both laugh]
Kevin: “My relationship with Ghana is still intact. I still feel close to them.”
33-year-old KP Boateng who now plays for Turkish club Besiktas, played for Ghana at two world cups in 2010 and 2014 but the last tournament in Brazil ended on a bad note for the former Schalke and Tottenham Hotspur star who was sent home for indiscipline before Ghana’s last group game against Portugal.
He has since not played for the National Team.
