There are several cases of sheer injustices and wrong information provided to the court to put innocent people in jail or exaggerations for high and harsher sentences because these people lack a voice and are not prominent enough.
According to the blogger and publicist, leaders of the country have been stealing huge sums of money yet they walk freely but a young kid (15 years) is in jail for stealing a kenkey seller’s ghs20.
Busumuru Sean Kingston pleaded with authorities and the President of Ghana to pardon the young lad, he wrote;
“I’m even sick now! Because of ghs20, this little boy stole from a kenkey seller. If a policeman lie to a judge that this little boy is 18 years for him to be jailed for 2 years whereas the real pen and paper thieves walk freely then we are not safe! Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and various stakeholders should intervene in this little boy’s case to set him free.”
