In recent season., Love Island fans have branded Sophie Piper the ‘snake of the series,’ after she lied to her partner Connagh Howard about sharing a kiss with former flame Connor Durman.
In toe-curling scenes the Essex beauty, 21, fiercely denied sharing a kiss with the hunk, 25, when confronted by Connagh, 27, after he only learned about the kiss from newcomer Rebecca Gormley, 21.
Despite Sophie later admitting she did kiss Connor, fans were left in uproar as they rushed to Twitter to slam her behaviour.
Sophie answered no to the question first and said it was in the challenge.
Was that part of the challenge? Or did you sneak off?’ Connagh persisted.
Sophie explained: ‘We had a kiss in the challenge and we had a kiss after. We had a kiss after we spoke after he got back from his date.’
‘There was a little bit of confusion because you just said you had a kiss in the challenge, but then all of a sudden another one has come out of nowhere,’ Connagh continued.
‘I know,’ Sophie said. ‘I’m such an awkward person. I’m not even gonna lie, actual s*** just came out of my mouth.’
Early on in the show, Sophie admitted she was ready to rekindle her romance with Conor, after he headed to the Hideaway for a date with Rebecca.
